SX Model with a Jack Plate

I know we have had this discussion before on this board but can not remember what the outcome was. Does a jack plate on the back of an SX void the warranty on the hull? I am looking at one right now that has that and do not want to get in too deep. Thanks for all replys and IMs.

Yes they do void the warranty. What yr. is it? Now there were some from the factory w/jp's, i want to say early models (2000) shouldn't be a problem. And if it's a newer model, don't let them tell you any different and if your not sure, call Skeeter. They will tell you.
