I am looking at 1995 300ZX It has a 225 efi mariner super mag on it never been rebuilt or had any thing major done to it. the boat looks good not sctarched or beat up. The carpet is a little worn but over all the boat looks better than what I have been looking at. Does anybody on here have a boat like it or know anything about this paticular boat. Is it a good stable hull and I don't know much about this mariner motor any info on the boat and motor would be appreicated. New to the board .

a friend of mine has a 1997 version of this boat with a "C" in the model number. C is for all composite. 21 feet long with 225 Merc. Great boat, one cool thing about my friends boat is no matter how fast he comes off plane the wake wash never threatens to wash over the back of the boat. I don't know what is about the design but it's a nice feature.

if it's a zx300 w/225, wouldn't it be way under powered ?

The owner of the boat says it will do 72 at 6100 prm 25 pitch tempest I think said he has a 23 pith that goes with it.

Is this hull all fiberglass?

I dont think so....I think they switched to all fiberglass with the 1997-98 and up thats what the C is for...buddy has a 98 185zxc

about how much wood is in the boat? Is it just in the transom?

Does anyone know what the beam on this zx 300 is it looks wide like a 95 or 92 ?
Will this boat handle rough water okay?
