Ordered my boat!!

Well I finally did it! A skeeter dealership just by pure luck opened up about 15 minutes from me, they are a super cool dealership thats been around since the late 70's but they just started with skeeter. In fact I was the first skeeter sale they had! I ordered a 2008 zx200 with a Yamaha vmax 200. Custom picked my paint and the owner is personally delivering my order to skeeter this weekend! He had to go there to finalize everything with his dealership, I told him to get me some free swag wile he was there hehe. Well im super stoked and as soon as I get it ill post some pics! Have a great weekend everyone!! Oh and you all were right, after being out on a few yamahas and mercs honestly I liked the yamahas more..Not that there is anything wrong with mercury but going through the trouble of swapping them out would be stupid. I was wrong ill be the first to admit it. Thank you all for putting up with me and my greeness and ALL my questions and also thank you all for your help!! I couldnt have done it without you!!!

Congrats.....what took you so long?
Either motor is fine these days but like you said, it wouldn't make sense to swap it and have it re-rigged.

Congrats, I look forward to ordering a ZX225 in the near future. Going to look a 2008 model tomorrow. Hope all the ones I see are ugly colors so I dont end up bringing one home .

You will be shocked how quickly that boat will be made and delivered! I bet you'll have it in the water inside 5 weeks (maybe 4).

I hope! I ordered my 21i 6 weeks ago. They had told me it would be 4-5 weeks and on the 4th week my dealer told me it would be on the next truck out. So the 5th week I went down there for some paperwork expecting them to tell me the boat would be here that afternoon or tomorrow when they told me Skeeter wont even start making it for another week. My heart jumped into my throat when I heard that, so it will be 11 weeks for me..

So it should only be about 4-5 weeks from my production date? (sept 9)

Odd.. we're in Indiana (farther away), and all the new boat orders have been beating the standard 6 weeks by 1 or 2 weeks. Did the dealer turn in the order in a timely manner? One person's boat got delayed by a week or so because the factory noticed that another boat later in production would be done in a week and they held the first one back so that they could be shipped together. I believe that it takes 5 or 6 days (couldn't remember) from the start of production to finish a boat.

Mine was done in 5 weeks - IN THE SPRING! (and I mean I was breaking the motor in within 5 weeks)
