Livewell Switches And Wire Diagram.

Hope you guys can help. My buddy has a 1999 Skeeter SX-186. He is trying
to Replace switches for his livewell manual a timer, but for some reason
he has hook up all the wires in wrong poles on his switches. Does anyone
have a wire Diagram for this?

Since aint noone else responded, I can say how it was hooked up on my old one and also on the controller I bought to replace it. They both were very similar..

Essentially, if you move far enough from the timer knob and switch, you only have a few wires. Power, ground, and the pump lead. Power should go to the center of the switch. The switch setting for manual goes right to the pump lead(was a brown wire on mine). The switch setting for auto goes over to the timer board, which has 3 connections. Power in(from the switch), ground, and pump. The pump lead goes to the pump, the ground goes to ground. Keep in mind as well that when you are looking at the switch, the "output" for the particular switch setting is on the opposite side of the switch. In otherwords, if you are holding the switch in your hand sideways and manual is on the right side and auto is on the left, the wires for manual operation will connect on the left side of the switch and auto(your timer) will connect to the right side.
It looks confusing how they jumper everything together, but typically they keep the same colors(red or orange for power, black for ground, brown for the pump lead). I think the power lead from the switch to the auto timer was yellow if I remember right.
