    New to the skeeter brand.

What is the difference in a sx200 and a zx200? Will they run the same speeds or is it different? What is an approximate cost on a new sx200 and a new zx200? It appears from the few pics I have seen on the net that the console on the sx series is more forward (smaller front deck) than the zx series. Is that a correct assumption.

SX is an entry level boat with lower cost features for the casual fisherman. A ZX has more of the bells and whistles used by tournament fishermen and serious anglers. A ZX200 will run about 36-38K.

Hey! I resent that remark!! I'm a serious angler! No seriously, I'm not kiddin'... I'm not jokin' around here! I AM SERIOUS!

However, I am more of a casual, serious type, of tournament fisherman....

Yes, the console is moved forward on the SX, but I have plenty of room for fishing... seriously I do

The SX is a price point boat. This is nothing against it but the boat is based off older blueprints. The SX hull is actually a little faster what I've heard. If you want to compare numbers I would go to the Yamaha Motors website they have performance bulletins on each model and will give you real comaprison data. Here's the link: http://www.yamaha-motor.com/ou....aspx

The ZX models offer a few more bells and whistles and are based on a later hull design. The ZX models cost a little more but have more features., too.

Both are great products and both are excellent products. I would visit your local dealer and get a test ride in both models for comparison. He can give you hard number on pricing for both models, too.
