Reasons I should NOT buy this 07' SX190 -I like this boat

I am ready to buy a new SX190. The price is fantastic and the resale value is very good for a Skeeter. I am not a tournament fisherman and not interested in speed of the boat, just fishability and reliability of the boat. The motor is not a concern. I have reputable Yamaha service in my area. Need to know if you are happy with your SX 190. Thanks Big Al

Sounds like you are already sold on the boat. The boats are great. There is not a better fishing boat on the market. Pull the trigger and get it ready to fish.

Sounds to me like you fit the bill for a SX owner If you are not into speed, and all the bells and whistles for tourny fishing then the SX line should be just what you need. I have a '05 SX 190 and am really happy with it. I will say get the most boat that you can afford though, because what you think it enough boat now is always a foot too short and 5mph too slow after you've owned it a few months Be sure and post some pic's whenever you buy

I also have a '05 and enjoy it. I don't fish T's either and 99% of the time, i'm by myself. Two people can fish easy out of it. Like SJ said, get the most boat you can afford. If that's all you can get, I think you will be satisfied with it. I have not had any problems with mine since i go it.

I have an 04 SX-190 with a 150 VMax. It is really a great boat. Quick 62-63 mph, rides and fishes well. You won't be disappointed. The <U>only</U> thing that I dislike about my boat is that the carpeted storage areas under the seats get wet when it rains. Good luck, you will be happy with you decision.

Assume your boat will have a carburated 150 Yamaha, my boat has one and hasnt given any trouble at all.

I bought an 04 SX 190 new. I am completly happy with mine. Never given me any problems (other than the ones I caused myslef)......

The only thing I would have done differently was NOT buy a white trailer and I would have gotten trailer brakes....

The motor is bullet proof and runs like hell.....The best thing is NADA lists the boat just under what I paid for it almost 3 years ago!!!

I went with the F150 on my '05 and love it!! ALWAYS starts with one turn of the key, great on gas, and 62MPH GPS on good days...60 all the time at 5800 rpms. The more I run it, the better it seems to run. Any pics yet?

Oh yea...that warranty is great, too...mine runs till 2011!!

Hey guys, It is nice to see that there are still a good bunch of guys who don't think they need a 22 ft rig with either a 225 or a 250 to still enjoy their skeeter or the sport of bass fishing!
I have a ZX185c and I still think for the size of boat you can not beat the zx185c or the sx190 class!
For my area, and for my needs, my 18.5 ft skeeter works great. I have fishied out of mine for 8 years now, and really, it still runs like the day I bought it and it still looks as good as the day I bought it.
Personally, I just would have a hard time going out and dropping 40k on a BOAT!

23M, Al...and as I said on one of your other posts, I turn 5800-5900 rpms with mine, so I would like to know how that 21 treats you once you break her in. Hole shot should be great
