    Proper rpm's

    I have a 06 z20 with 225 etec raker ll prop i'm getting 5500 rpms at 66 to 68 mph should i raise the jackplate to gain more or is this normal

    The center of your prop shaft needs to be like 3.5 inches below the pad of your boat, if that is the case then you might want to go a little smaller on your prop.

    You need to be spinning it to 5800 rpm's.
