Look in the battery compartment on the starboard side(behind driver's side), you should see a breaker to flip. That's all I have in my 185 that acts as a shut off. Good luck
I was not sure if that was it or not....Was hoping that it would kill power to the trim also. I guy I know had a trim stick and it went up in flames. Luckily he had it outside his house when it happened.
My 188vx has two switches. The master breaker is on the starboard side, while a main power cut off switch to the trolling motor and other electronics is on the port. Both are mounted just below the hatch opening
