How can I tell if the hub is partially spun out on my prop.

I have a friend who is running a 25 renagade on his 225 venom and sometimes she spins out on take off or at 5000 rpms, how can I tell if its the hub.
    Thanks Luc Levesque

Look for cracking or burn spots on the hub. You sure it isn't just blow out??

Mark the prop and the hub and see if the lines still line up after running it.

I'm heading there today to test it! I'm pretty sure its due to slippage but wanted to cover all the angels before I try it out.
    Thanks will let you know.

Look for circumferential scratches on the area of the propeller hub which bears against the thrust washer.

I've got to put that phrase," circumferential scratches" down and use it myself sometime.

My experience on spun hubs is it will start slipping when the boat starts trying to plane out. 2-3000RPM 10MPH, Its like you knocked the gear shifter in neutral. I have heard of hubs "slipping" at higher speeds, but it has the most strain when it is planing the boat.
