    Re: Locker gas shocks (Froggin101)

I ordered a replacement spring directly from ranger earlier today. There price was about the same as numerous other places on the internet. I upgraded to 40lb shocks that were priced the same as the stock 30lb ones.

Be careful on getting more powerful shocks. I did that and it pulled the rivets loose while it was closed. remember they were strong enuf when they were new! Probably best to use what the manufact used??

Ditto to this, broke three lids myself.

    Re: (hawgsnatcher)

I upgraded to a 40 for my center lid and am moving the 30 to my cooler lid. But you can see in my case it is needed.

I get mine from C and O Marine Parts. Price is pretty good and I've even caught them on sale a couple times.
