Ranger Three Bank Charger Problem Help?

I just bought a new to me 04 519vx, and am attempting to charge the batteries with the special edition ranger charger. I dont know how old the batteries are. The batteries appear to charge, however the third bank is not charging (the red lights just stay lit up and do not diminish). The other two banks to charge and turn green when charged. I did try to hook up the bank to one of the other batteries and the red lights just stay on usually with either 4 or 5 red lights on. I am wondering if its a charger problem or maybe a battery problem? The batteries are probably old enough to be replaced, but if it is a problem with the bank itself what can be done? Any other ranger owners out there who might know please help.

Thanks and I am thrilled to join the ranger family, coming from my old Nitro.

If youre having trouble with one of the banks, check for an inline fuse that might be blown or not seating properly.

    Just a thought.

I have a 08, with the 3 bank. I e-mailed Charging System Int. they said send it back, they will look at it and let me know how much to fix, they said between $75.00-150.00.( 4-5 day turn a round) Or call, the # is right on the front of the charger. I just sent it in this week. http://www.dualpro.com

You were correct in putting the bank on a different battery. If they turned green off a different bank, then it is a charger problem.

Had this problem. Call Dual Pro and the tech told me to check the inline fuse. He said even if it's not obviosly blown it could be bad. He said look at the fuse carefully and if had the smallest bend in it, replace it. Mine did have a slight bend and when replaced it worked perfectly. I replaced all three fuses on the unit and it's been good to go. Welcome to the Ranger famiy, whole different world than Nitro.
