    Ranger Dealers....

I was rather suprised the other day. I attempted to locate Ranger dealerships in NY. To my suprise I could only find one listed Ranger dealer in the whole state and he is located in Buffalo. Hannafin used to be but checking his website he is not carrying any more Rangers. Honestly there is not a whole lot of bass boat dealers in the state of any brand. I have some ideas on why this is so, but I also know that NY is not a very business owner friendly state.

It's not only New York but every where. Twenty years ago i couldn't count the number of dealers with in a 50 mile radius of here, now you can count them on one hand. It's like anything else you are really big into it or you are out of business and that is a shame for the small business men of this country.

    Re: Ranger Dealers.... (NY Trooper)

Quite a few have come and gone in the last 20 years in upstate NY. I traveled 5+ hours to get my new rig from North Jersey Marine. They are still in business today. Best decision I ever made, plus I only paid sales tax on the trailer and hull, not the whole package. Boat was rigged by them with the proper engine height and propeller for max performance. To many times I read on here owners asking what propeller and/or engine height cause my boat doesn't seem to do this or that or RPM's are way off.
