Adding an Accessory on front of Z518

I would like to add a cigarette style accessory plug to the front of my new boat for the purpose of plugging in a Moonlite when night fishing. I don't want to drill any holes in my new boat like for a guitar plug type light. Is there any any plugs on the circuit board behind the front depth finder I maybe could use? Any suggestions where to put this plug would be appreciated.

Should be an acc. pigtail left. Send Ranger Rodney an IM. he can let you know what to look for. Also post the findings as that is a good idea.

You will have some colored wires under the bow panel (orange and blue?) that you can connect to. The acc switch up front gives it power. The wiring schematic should be in your manual to tell you exactly which wires. You could wire the power to a cigarette plug and mount it or attach it somehow.

You can get a plug just like the one that comes on your boat and install on that front bow panel, will look nice and neat looking.

Thanks for the info Rodney. I may order one if those plugs from Ranger. Where exactly do you think I could mount that plug. Do you suggest mounting it in the bow panel or in the fiberglass? I was trying to stay away from drilling any holes if possible.

Front bow panel is where i would put it, if you ever want to do away with it you can allways get another panel.

Or, if your like me and screw up the cut, it's easy to replace!
