Check with Ranger about hull warranty. If you are the first owner it should be covered. I would call them anyway just to see if they will stand behind your boat. I bet they will. Ron![]()
You are seeing osmosis from your boat sitting on wet bunks. I have seen it on a few of my old Ranger boats.
Not sure it helps, but I have been running a box fan to push air around the bunks to help dry them out for two days after fishing.
Please post your response from Ranger
Anyone else have osmosis issue with Rangers. I believe it is an issue with all boats and not just those that sit in the water.
This happens with all brands. If its not covered (which on most cases its not), it can be very costly to repair. Keep us updated.
I have ad very positive dealings with Ranger in the past. For example: i called about getting (buying) two livewell lids and they sent me two for free. I am the second owner of th
e boat.
I haven't had the chance to call yet but ill keep yal posted.
Actually pretty common issue. I doubt that warranty will cover it. Go to the restoration board and post. I sure some one there has delt with this.

I have seen this on a few boats over the years and even had it on one of my rigs. If the pimples are small and not peeling then it will be allright, if they are big and busted open then you need to get it seen about. A very good friend of mine who worked in Triton warranty told me this years ago and yes this is a comon problem in a lot of boats.![]()
