hello, i have a 1996 johnson venom 225 and im lookingfor a cowling for it . the front hook for locking it down is missing on mine . or any suggestions on how to fix it

If its the lock on the handle you can order part number 337784 and if its the latch inside the motor cover you can order the epoxy kit part number 431929, either can be ordered from your local dealer.
I have a Venom Cowling that I can sell. Was on the motor for 2 days at the dealership before it got a small crack in it. Anyway, it's in great shape except for the small 2" crack. e-mail me at ncasa25@yahoo.com if you are interested. I'm sure we can work out a deal.
