Just saw it today myself for the 1st time, they should have used a bikini model instead. But all in all it was a funny one.

There was no blue dot on the ad I saw, just a blurred butt!
I also thought about the WOT thing without life jackets but hey, its' just a commercial. I'm never gonna run WOT without my jacket and anyone running WOT should have enough sense to do the same.
I'm more concerned about the fact that people think that it's the responsibility of recreational product manufacturers to make people use common sense. There doesn't seem to be enough personal accountability anymore.

Its just a commercial, what about the GM commercial when the Vette spins around in the middle of the road To face the Cobalt, not very bright on GM's part.
I thought the commercial was funny,however it would have been better to see both of them wearing life jackets and to have had the passanger get everything blown off instead of the driver behind a protected console. This was a funny commerical any way though.

I not concerned about us old farts being stupid, we know better. It's the kids and normal non boating public that needs the GOOD example. I see people head out on Kentucky Lake in 4 footers in a sixteen footer, drinking beer no jackets 5O year old equipment. Then I really get wacked when I have to stop fishing and go pull their dumbedit back to the dock. Like I said I know I"m a little to serious.SMG
I agree SMG, they should have had life jackets on but I would bet the director of the commercial thought it would take away from the ad.
It is an ad based on fantasy to cause a laugh. It did so for me. I thought it was an original and very funny ad. Sometimes folks we all gotta relax and laugh. Its fantasy. Not every single commercial needs to be part of a safety campaign. We are all adults and should not have to be told to wear a PFD. And I trult doubt one single person woulsd wear one based on this commercial had they had them on. Its make believe, do not make more out of it than it is. Mark
