    Trailer Lights issue

On the sideboard running lights, my small lights taht are on the outside work. But my light for the Phoenix doesn't work on both sides. Unpluged the small light and rehooked the big light and bingo it came on???? Plugged them both in and the little light works and no big Phoenix light.

My first thought is bad ground???? Any ideas?

Try an electrical test meter to check ground, continuity, etc for each section. You should find it

I have the exact same issue. In fact, Josh at David Fritts Outdoors had Marine Master mail me some lights and they came in today. i haven't had time to put them on and see if they work. I did think it was odd that both Phoenix lights went out at the same time.

Please let me know what you figure out...might have to take mine back to the dealer to get it fixed. Just was hoping it was something I could do as my dealer is one hour away and one hour back.

If you have any knowledge on how to trouble shoot an eletrical problem you can find your problem in just a few minutes...as a guess I would say weak ground.

Just get some wire and bare both ends and make sure it is long enough to find some bare metal. Attach one end to the light and then put the other end on the bare metal...you will know if it is a ground issue.

I didn't get a chance to mess with it last night. I will work on it tonight.

sorry dude. I installed the new lights they sent and it works fine. I did notice that the phoenix light is connected to the side light so there might be something in that terminal. Another thing I noticed is that the new light is different than the old one. seems brighter too.
