Where did you get the storage tray for and how much? Can you also tell me the dimensions of it from outside flange to outiside flange both length and width and finally the depth? Thanks in advance.

Storage tray was purchased from Phoenix Boats, they use this tray in another location.
    the outside dims. are 5 1/2" x 9 1/2" by 2 3/4" deep. and will fit in a 3 3/4" x 7 3/4 hole.

I am going to put a remote stereo interface in where you cut out the tray. Was there anything under there when you cut it out?

    Re: (shooter64)

    Not a problem. I used

2 - 3" lg. 2 1/2" pvc pipe reamed out to 2.55" (I used a band file to do this)
    2 - 2 1/2" pvc caps
    3ft of 1/2" cpvc pipe, 2, 1/2" 90 elbows, and 1, 1/2" tee
    4 - 3/4" ss pan head screws

I used a 5/8" spade bit for all the holes, this fit the pipe really well. Made a short nipple just long enough to go into the cap so it would bottom on the elbow and the tee.

The center to center is 5" and it can be assembled all except for the piece going to the bilge, including the screws, then install as a unit.

I plan to paint the assy. even though it isn't seen.

    Hope this helps.

That area is open, Just watch out for the wires.

If it is a round remote i would consider putting it where the cup holder is and move the cup holder further to the rear.

Re: Additions to the Bird (big water phoenix)

Here is another way to plumb the dual seat pedestals. I used a small diameter tubing connected together with barbed fittings. I connected the barbed fitting to the original pedestal covers with self leveling compound. I pressed the lock washers onto the barb after sticking the barbed fitting into the original pedestal covers. This was to just make sure the barbed fittings would stay locked in place with the self leveling compound. It might have been over kill. The whole thing is very low profile improving my ability to store more up front. I don't seem to have a picture of it all installed or I would post that too.

That looks really great. Where and how did you run the drain line? Did you remove the RTS as other did?

Re: Additions to the Bird (berger1b)

I had my bird shipped without the RTS installed. I just used the hole they pre-drilled up at the top front of the box to drain through. I have a slight down angle on the line. The whole thing is sticks down at most maybe 2 inches.
