I need some help deciding on the two. Let me have the pros, cons, or anything related. I am not so much worried about speed as much as fishabiliy, fuel milage, and rough water ride. I do know the zx190 with a 175 hpdi is great on fuel. Many thanks

The best thing to do would be to get a ride set up in one of each and compare the 2 first hand for yourself. I think you will be IMPRESSED with everything the Phoenix can do, but I cant say on the Skeeter.
If you can get to the Bass Masters Classic next month in Shreveport, there will be several Phoenix's there for you to crawl around in.

I am not a speed demon either, but I like the boat to perform like it should for its size, motor, etc.
I looked at Skeeter and Phoenix. Could have gotten a super deal on a Skeeter. I sat in each side by side, looked as close as I could at them, analyzed posts on both Phoenix and Skeeter boards (problems/support/etc). For example, with the Skeeter dash I could not comfortably swing into the seat; big issue for me when I want to get into the seat and I'm only 5'11".
Based on all my review I went with Phoenix and I am sure I made the right decision (for me).
I encourage you to do the same. Check them both out. Looking objectively at both, you will certainly make a best decision for you!
