    Blades On

Russ Baker, Chris Ferry, and the boys down at Limit Out Performance Marine did an outstanding job installing my set of 8' Blades on my 919. They got my rig back to me quickly and in time for the tourney this past weekend. My partner and I were able to use them to put some money back in our pocket.

Looks great. You're gonna love 'em. Probably one of the best and most useful upgrades you'll do.

Since you had the boat and then added the blades, you have a good comparison. How much speed did you lose with the blades on?

Two guys(Im 270, he's 120), full gear, full fuel, dual consoles, without poles...73-74 at about a quarter trim. Poles on now, we do 70-71. An interesting thing though, before the poles, we would get to about 66 or so and have to slightly correct on the wheel to prevent the chine while increasing to 73-74. Now with poles on..I hit the gas and it gets to 70 with little or no chine at all. So you can almost look at the couple mph loss as a trade off. I did just pull the passenger console out but haven't had a chance to run it yet to see if there is any difference.
