Just a lil reminder for everyone especially on a new boat or if you run in rough water alot to check those jackplate, motor, and through hull bolts. We do this on every service job big or small and you would be surprised at how many are loose.

Good advise Jr. but would also me real nice if we had the torque specs.
1. for the upper motor/JP(jackplate) mount to transom , where transom support plate is.
2. for the lower motor/JP mount to transom where there is no support plate.
3. for motor to JP and if there is any difference between a manual or hydraulic JP.
Nice info for some to have and also for us old farts who are having more brain farts as of late![]()
