PHOENIX DERBY?????

i am new to the board and was wondering if any one has tried to put together a 1 day or maybe a 2 day tournament just for Phoenix owners??? if it's not been done how many would like to get together and have one??? i am thinking about having it at Tims Ford lake....kind of a return to the birth place

It's been talked about and for a brief moment tried to take off. But conflicts seemed to put a damper on it. I was hoping to get it going again around September/October as the Frog bite started up on Guntersville. Several had expressed interest in coming down for it.

Phoenix Phrog bite would be cool! I wanted to try and make the one Jimmy tried putting together, but there was no way I could make it.

Me and Junior said earlier in the year that we would try and get one together for the fall after everything slows down from the spring time rush. Problem is, we havent slowed down yet from the spring rush.

i was thinking of trying to make it an annual thing around the 2nd or 3rd weekend in october.....at tims ford lake ( close to the factory) and think it would be a nice gesture if we all went to the factory and we all personally thanked every one there for making us the finest bass boat to have been made
