Im thinking of buying this motor and wanted to know if any updates were done to it.

There should have been some updates to this motor. I have the same year and hp and mine had the new computer updates before I purchased it in 2004 when it had 40 hrs on it. I'm guessing it has about 400 hrs on it now. The motor just blew on me this past weekend. If you decide not to purchase it could you give me the info where it is at. I may consider it instead of a rebuild. I have some other issues with trim and stuff and may be able to use it in combo to mine to make one good one. Thanks, Carl

It had a fuel injector strap kit in 2001....
its also had a oil injector, powerhead gasket, 2 EMM's, a motor harness, a water sensor and a stator all in 2002.
