It'll likely be my next boat as I change em' out every couple of years.
Looking forward to all kinds of new info on this new design.

I know junior said the new console was one thing why they hadnt released it yet. I'm hoping for fiberglass fenders as an option too![]()
I asked Jeff Hartung just a few days ago about the new console for the 618-619 and also what size graph I can fit in the exiting and this was his answer. I'm not sure if this will apply to the 921.
The current dash shrouds will accommodate a 998 humminbird in the bow or dash with an HDS 7 in the bow and an HDS 8 in the dash. The tooling for any new shrouds is not complete and we do not have a projected time frame on this project.
Chuck; When I pick my boat up, Doug and Jeff both said tolling was not done on the consoles yet and would not even tell me what units the 921 will hold. Think they are still up in the air about fitting gauges and what size unit they can get in the console.
Fiberglass fenders....liable to be a wait on. What I heard was they had not even started work on them due to, to many other thing needing to be completed. They did have a 921 top cap done and Greg showed me some of the small things they had changed.......like more water drain channels around the passengers console and rod box. That's all I know, other than they are more interested in getting what they have designed finished and in production before they even consider changes or new add on's. But who knows how much things have changed in a mo.![]()
Just send Jeff H. a E-mail and he will tell you what is going on.!
Fiberglass fenders are pretty but are a magnet for every jackwagon that cant drive a lick!!!

Why I have never had them or never will. Blow out on a tire at 70 MPH can total a fiberglass finder and have seen them after such an event.
The console isn't done yet. Will probably be another couple of months before it is in full production. I know what I was told it is going to look like and what changed on it, but not sure I can say. I do know it will fit on any of the models, just like the current consoles. The 921's shipping now have the current console in them.
I think the fiberglass fenders are pretty, but prefer the bling bling of the stainless or the diamond plate.

I have had 2 go on my Skeeter and the fenders are just fine FYI..
I have seen stainless fenders folded up so bad due to a blowout it took a pry bar and 2 men to bend it back into shape to change the tire. Unless your buying tungsten fenders blow outs can an will demolish them.

You're right. I've seen damage on all types of fenders. Some are just more expensive to replace.

I've actually grown fond of them on my 721 now that I have them so that' snot a show stopper for me at all.
I would like to see a fully molded console with the gauges "cut out" from the fiberglass and dropped in much like BCB does which is a great console layout wise (windscreen excluded on the BCB it's too small).
I want my next rig to accomodate the SmartCraft type gauges and not have the big speedo and Tach gauges as they are overkill. The analog speedo never gets a look anyway (who uses this now with GPS?) from me as I have the GPS data as an overlay on my sonar or chart on my HDS.
Keep posting info. Greg, if you have anything you can share, weigh in on this as when I put my 921 order together it's going to be 100% SOUP TO NUTS!!!!

I think you'll be happy about the new console from the gauge size standpoint. It's not going to be fully fiberglassed though.
