I went with the 21 because my current boat is 21'10" and didn't want smaller.

I have a G2 250 sitting with me waiting to hang once I get the boat.

I'll be following this thread and hopefully you'll keep us updated with the performance of the G2 on a Legend. I heard the G2 is a torque monster so first hand experience would be great with regards to the hole shot.

There is one in Maine with a G2, and it pops out of the hole like crazy.. Mid to low 70's top end is what I am told. That's on a V20. Looking forward to hearing how the 21 runs with one also..

21'10".. Running a Bullet prior? My fishing partner has a 21 XDC with 300X. Really nice boats, impressive build quality, and surprisingly good fishing platform.. Very different from the V20/21..

Yup. My other boat is a bullet. But the need for speed has passed me by lol (getting old, but could be the birth of twins that made me slow down). It is very fast, especially since I have a 300+ hp motor from Simon motor sports. So I have no top speed expectation for the legend. If I cruise around at 55-60 mph that would be more than good enough for me these days.

What gets me with the bullet that most never seem to understand is that the 21xdc is one of best rough water boats I have ever been in. I took it for granted untill I started going out in other people's boats.

This is good to hear. It's taken a while but, the looks of the G2 have grown on me. I'm still in awe over the torque numbers those engines put out over the other brands.

If I like the green panels better deal will
Swap me out for the black.
