Took a little swim out of the Phoenix last week....

at Lake Norman. Thank you Phoenix for having an easy to use and convenient emergency ladder.

My old boat had one that you had to find a knob and pull it out to get the ladder down. Phoenix's design is a simple grab of the step and it falls right into place.

The story of how I fell out is on my blog at http://www.mybasslife.com

Scott if you needed to come in and cool off while we were talking, all you had to do was ask. I'd have let you tie up to the dock! LOL!

Glad you're OK buddy. Great seeing you, boat looks as good in person as it does in the photos!

Send me all your used Citrus Sticks

    Good luck at Douglas!

    Chuck,

It was about an hour after I saw you, wasn't quite ready to cool off at the time we talked. Thanks for the offer, I'll keep it in mind for next time!

BTW, I'll make anyone interested a good deal on a bunch of Citrus Sticks!

Well there you went and did it! You jinxed yourself. You might as well go out right now and make sure you know how to deploy the E-Ladder

Hey I was one of the first ones to have the new style E-Ladder on a rig last yr. Saw them at the classic and they only had two there. They ended up taking one off the Power Pole display and sold it to me for $100 bucks. They where on all the boats at the classic but was told I had the first one, sense none of the boats that had them at that time had sold yet.
Love the new style not like Triton's or the older style that rattled and stayed in the water all the time. New style stays out of the water when on plan.

But like you said as soon as I get mine, might have to take the plunge to get that jinx off of me now........come to think of it have a self inflating PFD that needs to new recharge system by date.

Your not alone Scott. Ive done it twice from my bird, both in tx's and previously had ZERO x's in 20 yrs (although my boy goes over at least once a year, lol). 1st was morning dew on a fresh wax job w/ crocks and a snagged up square bill; 2nd was intentional jump in to retrieve a fast sinking Carrot/Curado combo that slip out of my boys 8 year old hands....
