Thanks so much Kobus; my friend in South Africa!

I got a dream shipment today of Nando's Peri Peri sauce. Nando's is the ultimate fast food restaurant based in South Africa and they serve healthy food that is out of sight good.

They are famous for their "chicken burger" which is actually a grilled chicken breast served on a flour dusted Portuguese sour dough roll and smothered in Peri Peri sauce which is what Kobus (one of our Phoenix boat brothers) sent me here as you can see in the photo.

In South Africa they call what we call a Bar B Que a "Brie" and Kobus my friend we'll have a dandy of one here shortly and many a beer will be raised in your honor. Have some close friends from SA here that will be on hand for a Peri Peri based Brie gathering and we may even Brie some of that famous SA sausage!

Thanks so much, what a terrific and kind thing to do!

By the way that's Bass Talk Live in the background with Aaron Martens interview yesterday about the Bassmaster Classic. Give it a listen, he talks about his boat and the new batteries that he's using and the effect on how the boat sits in the water. http://www.basstalklive.com

They are great people for sure!!!!!!!!!!

Frans sent me the same selection of Peri Peri sauce. He called after I recieved it and warned me....."Marty, you know the one that says Extra Hot? Be careful, VERY careful with that because its *#&$& HOT!!!!!"

I have plans to try them this weekend. We are going to a friends house to have a little get together and I am going to be grilling.

In the interview with a mart, he said that he insulated the lids in his boat. Does anyone know how he would do that? He said he did it for moisture but when I checked out the phoenix the lids were loud when shut. Maybe it would help with dampening the noise a little.

I thought I heard him say that he wanted to try and keep the heat out in addition to trying to keep the moisture out. My last boat had aluminum lids as well and had a 1/2 inch foam material that looked to be cut to fit then glued into place. Not quite sure the difference it made.

Yeah, no kidding. Thought some crafty customs agent snagged it and was having a Brie on our behalf!

I grilled some chicken breats last night and brushed the Garlic Peri Peri on them and man oh man, was that fantastic. The garlic has a nice bite to it and this from a true hot sauce aficionado (I collect them) so that xtra hot version is going to be something else I'm sure.

I'm saving that one for when my S A buddies come over and I can blow their heads off with the super hot stuff!

Thanks again for doing that, I really do appreciate it more than you know!
