    BeeLine Question

I know the Phoenix is tops out of the two, really liked the ones I looked at up close, a lot...we have a dealer in town and got to talk to some reps at the Classic, very impressed. Ive never looked at the BeeLine in person... is it a totally different hull? It kinda looks like it. But it also looks like a nice boat too. How do the price compare between the two? Just wondering, Thanks

    Re: BeeLine Question (dmayers)

Not sure of the price dif but the beeline is prabably goin to go the way of the dodo. I think they will be phasing it out soon. They have just not had any request in building any in some time. You might just check with them at Phoenix to clarify as I dont want to start a rumor but Phoenix boats are there main goal.

    Kevin,
I heard the same thing. They used the original Bumblebee molds for the BeeLine but have since stopped production of that hull due to the immense popularity of the Phoenix boats. BeeLines can still be bought on the used market and are a great boat.

    Tightlines,

    Eric,
Yes, Also the original Bumblebee molds are old. They need repairs and from my understanding there are no master molds to make new molds. Its just not worth it to continue this line. They were and still are good boats. But its an old design. You can still find a few new Beeline boats out there as well as used Beeline and Bumblebee.

They are very good boats and built with the same materials and care that a Phoenix is. If you are interested in a 286, we have one on close out.

    Re: BeeLine Question (marty92xrd)

I have a 286 Pro and it's a great boat, but one of these days when I grow up I will be upgrading to a 619 or 721.

    Re: BeeLine Question (secdawgs)

I have a 2100 Bee and It is a great boat. But why buy somethang that the factory is phasing out. If I would of known about the Phoeinx I would of waited a year and got one. But hey why should they tell the public this and cost them money. This is the only beef I have with them. If I decided to buy a new boat it will be a Phoeinx

    Re: BeeLine Question (BEE2100)

Not to be picky but thats just not true. From day one Phoenix said they were developing the Phoenix Line of Premium Boats. Many people were actually getting discouraged by how long it was taking.

You will note the Phoenix Line of Premium Boats were originally supposed to be introduced in March 2008.
