Nope, it's too deep. Just the standard depth one fits. Best hard bait organizer I've ever seen. Did not like it at first, took it out, fumbled all my crap about 3 times and put it back in and have had that "ah ha!" moment since then and it's all good. The RTS is a great system.
Plastics further back as they weigh more, hard baits up front in 3600 boxes. No brainer there!

Thats what i plan on doing but was hoping i might could squeeze the deep 3600 in the slot, the regular sized 3600 boxes just dont hold much
Don't forget you have the ability to stand up 3600 boxes vertically in the main tackle storage area on both sides inside the bungee cords.
I use the big guide boxes there (have 4 of them) with the plastics I am using for that trip and then 3600 boxes stood up on end with whatever I have in them. I move them from the RTS to the main box depending on what I'm doing and how often I need to get in there and change. I'm bad about cutting off crankbaits and tying on new colors so I keep that depth of cb in the big box that day as I'm in and out of there and I like sitting on the step to tie tackle on.
Storage for me definately ain't an issue on this rig.
