Got a problem with my trim/tilt sw. on my contoller. It is for a 1991 Evinrude Intruder 175. It doesn't tilt up, but does tilt the motor down. How hard is it to replace this part? I would like to do it myself. Thanks,

Are you sure it's the switch???
I had the same problem and it was a relay. There are two for the T/T....one up and one down. I swapped them and then it went up but not down. Replaced both relays because I figured the other one wasn't very far behind, and problem solved.
I am not sure it's the switch, but I thought that would be the only thing to go bad. I didn't know they have relays. Where are they located and how do you change them out? Thanks.
