I saw another thread where BRC is allowing different plugs to be used in some of their engines.
Is there a replacement plug for the fichts that use XC12PEPB ?
If you need a model number, its under my name.

No, there are no upgrade reccomendations for your engine. You are using the correct plug.

Thats what I was wondering, how can i be sure they are OK for my engine.
I would love to have plugs that last longer.

Give them a try and see how they work in your 60° engine. Then report back here with your results. It's fun to be on the cutting edge !!!!!!!

Are you ribbing me?
Will I smash the plugs with the pistons?
I don't think I will try anything like that on a 12K engine if I'm not sure.
I will talk to my local dealer about as she is in the shop right now.
The QC10WEP plugs are only suitable for the 90° V6 ficht/DI (200 to 250hp) not for the 60° V6 ficht DI (135 to 175hp).
As was noted in SeaHorses sticky post up top.
Yea i read it, I was just hoping because the ones i use burn up pretty quick.
Maybe something will come down the line later.
My ficht is an 01, my buddy's is an 00 and he uses XC12PEP. No "b' at the end and its quite different and lasts longer.
Anyway thanks for the replies.
Have your temp checked while warmed up and see if it's running cold, that will kill the life of your plugs.
