    gizmo in front of shifter

was lookin at my buddies new 618 pro and there is a stainless piece in front of the shifter. it pushes in and out. what is this for? (open or close livewell)????

also on here someone said their 618 was rated for a 175 hp. his coast guard plate on his 2011 boat says 150 hp.. whats the difference.

can't wait to see how this bird rides...

That is a tie-off cleat. A lot of people have been tying off to the steering wheel when pulling up to a dock. This saves the steering wheel and makes docking an easy task when by yourself.

Ive heard they recommend a 150 on it but its really rated up for a 175. Unless they lowered the rating or something but I doubt that.

I have a 618 also, its plated for a 150hp because thats what I have, but I could have gotten the 175. Not sure what the deal is with that but its true. She does fly well w/ the 150 though
