Even though it doesn't say, does anyone know if the electronics ordered as is from the nitro site are generation 2 HDS? I asked my dealer about this and he said he wasn't sure.

Got me, but tell your dealer that's what you want. They can put the electronics on for you if needed and at a cost.

FYI for anyone interested. Talked with one of the engineers and all 2012's from here out will have the generation 2's.

Even if it didn't it would qualify for the Lowrance HDS® GEN2 UPGRADE AT CHOICE dealer support program.
