z9 courtesy light

I just bought a new 2010 z-9 cdc and I just can't find where the courtesy light is and if there is one is there a fuse box for it?

Its in the rear battery compartment.

That is a sweet courtesy light set up

The light Bryan is talking about is on the starboard side of you rigging compartment. When you raise your lid , take your trays out and look to the starboard side under the deck. The light has a switch built into it also that may be off. Push on the lens of the light and it will come on when your courtesy button is pushed.

Thanks but the only light I see is the wiring and frame for the anchor light.

Hey transamz9 does that gps puck pick up good located there. I noticed it in your pic. I've been looking for a good place to put mine and didn't know if it would work not being in the open.

Yes it works just fine. Here is a pic of the other one in the rear. To be truthfull about it, the only one that I have ever had trouble with locking on it the one on the bow that sits out in the wide open. Go figure

Well my dealer contacted the factory and said my boat only came equipped with the 2 rope lights and 3 storage compartment lights so go figure . But If I would buy the light they will supply the labor so oh well only 20 bucks or so.

On my 2010 itwas located in the service box up high and yes it was tuned off, even BPS could not locate it so they added one to the console. Then I did locate so now have 2.

This may sound stupid but when you say service box do you mean in the rigging compartment like the one transam was kind of enough to show?

Yes that would be it...... battery compartment..........
