    Trailer fitment help please!

I have a 2004 Ranger 195VX and am unable to get my trailer registered in Louisiana. I found a trailer from a 2006 519VX and am scheduled to meet Monday to pick it up. We are each having to drive 7 hours for the deal, so a test fit is not a option. I assumed my boat would fit, but after some digging around i found that my 195 is 5" longer and has a 4" narrower beam (19'5"x7'6 beam). His 519VX is 19'x8' beam. Does anyone know if i can make the trailer accommodate my 195?

You can use that new title to get it registered. Change the vin number over or call it home made

The width is not a problem. Install longer bunks if needed and you may have to shim one pair of bunks if the degree of dead rise is different.put the shim under the bunks on top of the brackets,it will be hidden there.
