I was in a bait shop on Saturday in Kimberling City and a lot of fishermen where were coming thru and there was several nice boats there...mostly Rangers and Champions... I was just about to check out at the store when a new Sterling rolled thru...the older fellers that were shooting the breeze quickly began talking about the boat. With comments like, "That's the UGLIEST boat they'd ever seen", "I wouldn't be caught dead in a boat that looked like that", and last but not least...."What a waste of $70k" Needless to say I turned around and said "It sure ain't a Ranger is it??" <br /><br />

The only people ive ever met who talk $hit about Gamblers or Sterlings, are those who can’t afford one!
…or they’re still finding it hard trying to justify the fact that they spent 40k+ on a boat that looks and runs just like everyone elses.
I dunno about you guys but from a distance, I can’t tell the difference between a Ranger, Skeeter, Triton, Bass Cat, Champion, Nitro…etc…
..but a Gambler, Sterling, or Stroker definitely stand out and demand attention. Mainly because they’re passing all the others on the lake.
Its like cars,…the Corolla, Maxima, Altima, Tiburon, Accent, Accord, Focus, Celica, and Sonata all look the same to me and all have similar features all of which I could give 2 $hits about…but then someone goes screaming by them all with a Corvette and everyone turns to see it flying by! Pretty fair comparison

Let them talk all the crap they what, its harmless. consider the source of the comments that alone should make should make you feel good about gambler/sterlings!
