Hey G boat brethren I have wore out the search feature looking for someone who has documented re-carpeting a gambler and havent found much. Has anyone documented their account of replacing the carpet in a G boat? I would like to read through there trials and errors before taking on my own boat if at all possible. It would be nice to know what size rivets they used to put the molding back on, if they used aluminum or s/s. Can you do the cockpit in one piece or do you have to do the sides and steps separate? The black foam under the lids do you remove or leave in place? Contact cement or regular carpet glue for the lids? Should I use 16oz like the factory or go with 20 oz? 8ft or 6ft width carpet? Is bascar from marine carpeting the best place for carpet? I have to have teal so basscat is out of the question. I guess any information available would really help. I love reading through the post here, you guys really love your Gamblers and it shows. I plan on adding led's in mine like so many of you guys have, they really look sharp from the pictures I have seen. Thanks in advance Jason
