    Batteries

I need to replace the starting battery in my 2100/250xs. What do you recommend that meets the cca and will fit in the group 24 space.
    Thanks

    Re: Batteries (rwalker221)

If theres a Batteries Plus around, check them out. I have been with them for 6 years now and havent had any issues. I just replaced my cranking battery this spring(3 hard seasons on it) and The new Xtreme series they have were redesigned and I was able to fit there 27 series in place of the prior 24s tray. The batteries internals were improved and they were able to manufacture them smaller with more cca and mins over the prior years model.

I tried two of these batteries with no luck.
I had both load tested and they passed, but I had issues with my 2008 225 Pro XS and all the other stuff I run off the cranker.

I would go with the Sears Platinum or the Cabelas batteries.
