In case you didn't know there are 72 pages of archives. Anyhow I have been through all posts related to setup. I have a 95 intimidater with a 200efi merc. motor is 3.75" below pad and as high as it will go. I don't know what pitch the 4blade prop is but it will oonly get 60 gps at 6000. Tried a 25 tempest plus holeshot ok withjust my fat @$# got 63.7 at 5800 with a little walk. Put partner in and filled livewell and it would not get on plane. I then went to a 25 fury (only other prop I could get) and it would barely get up and only 59 at 5700. WP on all props is 15psi. Holeshot rpm's on both tempest and fury was only 2200. I changed plugs, fuel filter and all fuel lines but no change. I have also recently noticed that I am getting a low voltge alarm on my HDS 5 when cranking. Question is should I go to a 24" prop or possibly start looking at the electrical? sorry to be long winded, but I love my new to me gamblerand would really like to see her right. Any help or ideas are appreciated.
