    headin to the big o....

    leaving monday for my very first trip to the big o...54 years in florida...and never been on the lake...kind of hard to believe...the one place i didnt grow up fishing on...really looking forward to it...hope i dont tear nothin up....

    they ought to be on the beds.. Tinhouse cove may have some offshore. also check for pepper grass on kings piont.... Excelent to spinnerbait now.

    Always wanted too, but i have never been there either.I have a brother that lives there . Good luck, I know we'll be seeing pic's soon????

    Never would have though they would be on the bed in November, learn something new here everyday.

    they are spawning right now and have been for the past month. look around on the north end from tinhouse cove up to codys cove and all around kings bar

    came home a day early...wind pretty much blew us out yesterday afternoon,and we listened to the weaterman, who said it was supposed to rain all day today...i should have known better than to listen to the weather...very intimidating place on your first trip...lots and lots of small fish..just could not find any of the big ones...was just starting to figure my way around when the weather went south...guess i will try again in a week or so...

    nope...3 hours 40 minutes...most all interstate..much shorter drive than i thought...i guess i need to fish there more often...it would take a lifetime to learn that place...
