I would make sure that the ground is good and no bare wires are touching....![]()

Either bad ground or connection at gage came loose would be where I'd start looking.

Needle movement broken, time for a new guage.

Most things that stand up for a while point towards the ground after usage.Give it time & it should point skyward again.![]()
