No help for the Fury info.

    What do you run now?
    What RPMs are you getting?

    Re: FURY (ANDY3306)

I ran a 26 on my 2100 with a 250 Pro Xs and loved it but I was into the limiter in the summer heat.. I would think that a 26 would put a 225 Pro xs right around 6000 to 6100 rpms..
The Fury had the best hole shot of any prop that I have run and the mid-range was reallly quick but I got into the limiter at 82 gps.. Didn't handle quite as good as my four blades but neither has any of the other three blade props that I have tried..

I tried a 26 fury on my 2100 with a 225. Hole shot was great. Was over 6000 at only 76-77

I hate to hijack your thread but your numbers raise a question with my set up. I have a 2100 with a 04 225 EFI. I run a 27 trophy. While I have seen as much as 82.4, most of the time I will it the limiter (5800) right at 81. Just did it this weekend with a half tank of gas, me 200 (lbs), a tournament load and 2 full live wells of fish. While I do try to limt my gear weight, i still think i am running pretty heavy. Is the XS not supposed to be a faster motor? I would think having the higher RPM limit you would be faster then 78 and would be able to run more prop? Do I have a hot motor? I am just trying to understand.

Sounds like you have a hot motor to me.. My 2100 with a 225 Pro XS with a worked prop and cool weather and all the stars lined up it would run 83.3.. It ran about 81 to 82 most of the time..
I now have a 250 Pro Xs on the same boat and the funny thing is it isn't that much faster about 2 mph tops..
I forgot that is at 1200 feet above sea level.. So one should run slightly better at sea level..

    Re: FURY (Gamblerpilot)

That is the reason I asked what he was running now.
    I swapped out a 2001 225 EFI for a 2008 225 Pro XS.
    I ran a TRO4 27 on the EFI @ 6000-6100 RPMs to 81.3 GPS.
My new Pro XS will only turn the TRO4-27 to 5600-5700 RPMs to 76-77 GPS.
My hole shot with the Pro XS went to the crapper, I have to use my trim tabs just to get on plane. I never used my tabs with the EFI, unless I was in very skinny water and needed to jump out of the hole.

    THANKS FOR THE INFO!

Sounds like your down on power slightly with the 225 Pro XS I ran a 27 TRO4 on mine with the 225 Pro XS.. It ran 81 gps with the 27 TRO4 and would run 79 tourney loaded with two aboard..
