No Oil Alarm 150 2001 OMC

Good afternoon all. I have a 2001 150 OMC FFI serial # G04967405 that has been running fine but once in a while I get the no oil alarm on the system guage. The only time i have seen this is after a day of fishing when I am going back to the dock at around 2k RPMs. The oil light goes on and puts the motor in S.L.O.W. mode. If i shut the motor off and run the system check again the light goes away and i am usally good for the rest of the trip back to the dock. This doesn't happen all the time but definatly has been more often in recent trips. Any ideas?

I would ask my local BRP dealer if he can have a tech pull any codes that the ECU has stored. This will point you to the problem.
