I noticed and heard the jack plate creeping down while on the trailer. A buddy of mine who is a mechanic on heavy machinery hydraulics said that the jack plate had an internal leak either in the piston or the check valves on the pump. He was going to put some gauges on it to find out but I figured I would call Gambler first. Steve suggested to call Bob's and deal direct and get it taken care of. Called them today...............![]()

They told me that it was pretty much a bet the pump had a problem in the check valves. Asked them if they would send me the new pump and I would ship the old one same day back. didn't want to hear it. Not their policy. I offered to give my credit card and they could bill me and credit it when they got theirs back. Absolutely no help at all. Told me to remove it and send it to them. I asked who is going to take care of the labor, time, shipping etc., apparently that is not their problem.![]()

At least with Ameritrail having issues with the trailers they sent out parts asap to solve the problem. I called Gambler back very **** off and thanks to them, they sent out a new pump today and they will worry about getting the credit for the pump.

I heard that some of these companies are not even covering the labor charges to fix their own products.
