Got a hold of Kim at gambler. new shifter for the merc swap.......... 418.00 with cables the shiter is diffrent for a merc vs omc She did speak about a new web site in the works with all the stuff on it, we will see if it comes about. She was a big help and even called me back when she had every thing ready to ship

Jim........when I changed from a Merc. to Yamaha C & O Marine ended up tig welding different shift linkage adapters on my existing shifter. This was necessary for the different Yamaha cables. Works better than ever. Maybe the same will work for you. I can't imagine Gambler making a different shifter for every brand motor. Hope this helps

its the cable mounts. tryed to change it around tig welding difrent mount and changeing the way a omc pulls the cable , works be not right thanks ................. Jim(vince)

I cant believe you couldn't score one out of a junk boat for a lot less then that.

Had the same issue when converting I had a machine shop make the adapter to go in the other hole in the shift box, and it work's fine
