2200 Rod Organizer

Hey y'all,
Anyone have an extra rod compartment organizer they're looking to sell or know of where I can buy one? I didn't realize how much I liked them until I bought a boat without one. I thought all 2200's came with them but apparently, I was wrong. Thanks,

I guess you could just get them from Gambler.
When I bought my 2200 earlier this year they put them in for me. But I have to tell you I hated them. The rod organizer on the 2100 is much better. Since the compartments are much smaller on the 2200 because of the quick draw system, the rods hit each other and you can't get as many in there to sit properly. JMO. I can't believe they would be that expensive.

Check with MCarte here on the boards. He told me that he took his rod organizers out of his 2200. If i'm not mistaken, it is ungotz's old rig.

Ungotz, Mike...thanks for the info. I have to admit, I HATE those stupid quick draw boxes. I'd much rather have the extra room for rod storage. Thanks,

You can make your own by using the tubes made for golf club bags.

Insert them into 2" thick high density styrofoam after drilling the holes in it wherever you want them with a holesaw...I cover the styrofoam with aluminum sheet metal & make it fit tight so it doesn't need screwed down inside the locker.

You can fit a lot more rods by doing it this way.

</TD></TR></TABLE>That's a good idea that I never even considered. I used a scrap piece of 1/4" lexan, some golf tubes, & an old Coverlay rod rack to make mine. Cost about $8 for the front & nothing for the butt end of the rods.
