    mayfair cartridge replacement for livewell

I replaced all of the pumps in the boat. I had to take the gas tank out to get to one of the bilge pumps.
Anyway, I replaced the livewell fill with 500 gph, and it takes way longer to fill than before. (both sides)
I was pretty sure all of the livewell pumps were 500's but thats apparently not the case.

Does anyone know what the size should be?

The areate pumps work just fine.

This is on a 96 indimidator II.

    Thanks.

    All of mine are 1000.
I had a bad one from the start on my last boat and they sent one out to me. When I went to put it in, the ones in the boat were 1000 and they sent me a 500. So just out of curiosity I checked the others and they were also 1000.
I don't know about the year of you boat though. May be different. Sorry.

Does anyone know if the 1000 and 500 are the same size?

Yes they are. I plugged the 500 in for a tournament until the 1000 came in.
