    new prop advice

    OK,
I hit some dredge pipe a couple of days ago prefishing for a tourney and needless to say it was not healthy for my 26 Trophy. So I am going to have to re-prop.
I was thinking of just going back with another 26 trophy and call it a day...
But thought maybe there may be some better options out there and wanted to get some input.
    Boat 96 Gambler 209 TE W/ 01 225EFI and hydr JP.
The boat never hits the limiter with the 26 seems to hover around 5400RPM (68-72MPH)or so.. And also had some low end hole shot blow out..
I am not looking to break any records just maybe get it a little closer to the limiter and improve the hole shot...
    Thanks in advance..

I would wonder how a 25 Trophy would work...........would improve the holeshot, midrange and top end.

No, I was meaning a Trophy Plus........the Plus on the Trophies, Tempests, etc., just means that they have the PVS plug system that allows you to custom tune the holeshot by adding/removing vent plugs.

Don't buy a new one, check out the used ones on the Props4Sale pages on BBC and also the Props4Sale forum at the bottom of the page.
$300. will buy a good one and if you don't like it just list it for sale for the same amount. Can't lose.

    I have a 26 trophy plus. I'd sell it for 300 shipped.

Also mark on the prop board can fine tune any prop. He can probably satisify your issues on the 26. I am sure he can get you some more mph and rpm out of a 26.

Kevin if you had a Trophy (Plus or not), then his Trophy will fit. The only difference on the Plus props is the adjustable vents that take the PVS plugs.
