    GPS antenna location

    Where is everyone mounting their GPS antenna? I have a 209TE. Thanks................

    directly above the transducer, or as close as you can place it. That way, when you mark structure with a waypoint, you should be able to return exactly to that point.

    I bought a RAM mount and put it on my rail. They are accurate to what 3-10 feet. This is close enought for me. No drilling either.

    i put mine on the deck between the backrest of the seat and the livewell.ran the wire under the armrest to the console.

    I have my gps unit mounted at the passenger console and the anntenna is just velcroed under to the carpet behind the gps unit. It's not visible, no drilling needed, and its picks up the signal great.
