thought I would share a few pics of my Shearwater 2200 Coastal Bay. I had it out for the first time today and I still have alot of prop work and seat time to accomplish. With Brian and I onboard and a full tank of gas we GPS'ed it at 59 mph on the button. That was with a beat up 23" Mercury Tempest, and we were all over the rev-limiter. 60 mph(GPS) with a full load and 62 light is my goal, and I think I can hit it. I will miss my Triton, but so far I can say this boat is a missle out of the hole and rides great at all speeds. I can't wait to put a Tarpon in it this summer. Maybe she will help me land a Sail or maybe even place in a Kingfish tourney this summer I will give a full report once I get it dialed in, but so far I like it My wife informed me that I need to keep this boat at least a year.....I said, "maybe"![]()
